In Loving Memory of Abdul Aziz Qurban Ali Gilani
Abdul Aziz Qurban Ali Gilani passed away on February 6, 2026, leaving behind a lasting legacy of compassion, generosity, and service. A man defined by his heart, Abdul Aziz was deeply committed to community service and held a lifelong dedication to supporting those in need. He believed in showing up for others—through his charitable spirit, his infectious enthusiasm for cricket, and the simple joy of sharing a good meal.
Above all else, family was his anchor. He was a devoted son and brother, a loving husband and grandfather, a cherished uncle and friend, a mentor, and a father figure to many. His caring nature, kindness, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
In honor of his enduring commitment to helping others and his deep belief in the power of giving, our family has decided to start a Memorial Donation Drive in his memory. All donations will be directed to the Aga Khan Foundation USA, an organization he wholeheartedly supported and whose vision he truly believed in.
The Aga Khan Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living in remote and underserved communities across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Every dollar donated supports their key program areas, including agriculture and food security, civil society, climate resilience, early childhood development, education, health and nutrition, and work and enterprise.
Thank you for honoring Abdul Aziz’s memory through your generous support of the Aga Khan Foundation.
